Your list of activities shows all of the activities commencing on day one of your project (the current date) and taking the same, default amount of time. Clearly this will not be the case.
The task durations can be changed by one of the following methods:
1.Moving the cursor arrow to the end of each activity bar so that it changes to this symbol:
Now click/drag to the duration to the required value. The adjusted duration is displayed in a pop-up information box as shown:
2.Double clicking the task and editing the duration information in the ‘Activity Details’ dialog
3.Enter the duration directly into the ‘Duration’ column of the ‘Activity Table’. Use one of the above methods to change your durations to:
Site Set Up..................................3 days
Set-out Foundations....................2 days
Excavation...................................4 days
Formwork.....................................6 days
Reinforcement..............................6 days
Concrete.......................................3 days
Strike Formwork...........................4 days
Backfill..........................................2 days
Dispose of balance of Arising’s... 1 day
Your revised programme of works should now look something like this:
