Creating a Summary


Summary tasks are created in two stages. 

Firstly a Task is created at the required position with the name of the summary task.


The block of items which are to be summarised are then selected. Finally the block is indented by pressing the Indent Icon. The Indent can be reversed by selecting tasks and pressing the Outdent button.




Rolling Up Summaries



The indented sub-tasks may now be rolled up or unrolled by selecting the summary and pressing the + or - Icon. These Open and Close icons will roll or unroll a single level of all selected summaries.
The ‘++’ icon will Open All selected tasks, and the ‘--‘ will Close All levels.



Alternatively, Right-clicking on a Summary Task will display the Context Menu with a Mini Toolbar - this will allow Open/Close/Rollup.
