Sometimes it is useful to display a line on the bar chart at certain goals, time periods and events.
1.) To start, go to the Bar Chart Options in the Configuration tab, or right click on the bar chart and select ‘Bar Chart Options’.
2.) In the dialog box, click on the ‘Lines’ tab and scroll through the list until you see ‘User Style 1’. Customise the settings to your liking, ensuring you have specified a pattern and width.
3.) Press OK once you are done configuring the line. Either create an activity / Milestone (0 Duration for Milestone) of which you want to display a line, or select an existing one.
4.) Double click on the Activity / Milestone you have chosen and select the ‘Display’ tab at the top of the dialog box.
5.) Tick the box ‘Draw Vertical Start Line’ (Or finish line depending on what you want), and select the user line style which was customised previously from the drop-down menu and click OK.
6.) The vertical line will now appear on the bar chart.
