In the ‘Print Bar Chart – Page Tab’ dialog box it is possible to set CS Project to fit a whole project onto one page. However, as this uses proportional compression, the bar chart sometimes does not fill the page vertically. To rectify this you need to use a combination of ‘Size Border to Report’ and change of row heights.
Step One
1.) Go to the reports tab and select the report of your choosing.
2.) In the Page tab, select ‘Force-To-Pages’ and then hit Preview.
3.) You will now see a report. Below, you can see that the report has a lot of blank space at the bottom.
Step Two – Getting rid of the white space.
1.) To get rid of this white space, exit out of the report and go back to the activity table.
2.) Simply change the row height to make it slightly thicker by hovering the mouse over the far left side grid then click and drag to the desired width.
After doing this, check the report once more and then adjust accordingly.
As you can see, this is far better than the previous report and white space has been taken up.
